Temporary Timetables for WV Active Aldersley
Due to the PDC Grand Slam of Darts taking place at WV Active Aldersley, we will be operating revised Activity timetables between Thursday 5 November 2026 and Wednesday 25 November 2026.
Please read the information below for restrictions to each individual activity area.
Gym and Group Exercise Class Access
Gym
We are operating revised gym opening hours from Saturday 14 November 2026 till Sunday 22 November 2026.
Gym Opening Times:
- Saturday 14 November 2026: CLOSED from 9am
- Sunday 15 November 2026: CLOSED from 9am
- Monday 16 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Tuesday 17 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Wednesday 18 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Thursday 19 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Friday 20 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Saturday 21 November 2026: CLOSED from 2pm
- Sunday 22 November 2026: CLOSED from 9am
The Home Straight Gym will be closed from Thursday 5 November 2026 till Wednesday 25 November 2026. It will re-open on Thursday 26 November 2026.
Classes
We will be running classes in the aerobic studio until 8:15pm on Tuesday 10 November 2026.
The last Spin Studio based class will take place on Saturday 7 November 2026 at 11.30am.
Online virtual classes will remain available at all times via the WV Active App.
Group exercise classes will resume as normal from Tuesday 24 November 2026.
Access to classes at WV Active Central and Bilston-Bert Williams will be unaffected during this period.
Outdoor Track, Courts & Pitches
Outdoor track, courts, velodrome and astro pitches will remain open as normal until 10pm on Friday 13 November 2026. Following that, they will be open Monday – Friday until 2pm, re-opening as normal on Monday 23 November 2026.
Sport Hall
The sports hall will be closed for longer than other areas to allow time for the setup and de-rig of the PDC Grand Slam of Darts.
The sports hall will therefore be closed between Monday 9 November 2026 till Wednesday 25 November 2026, re-opening as normal on Thursday 26 November 2026.
How to freeze your membership
If you are affected by the changes mentioned above, you are able to freeze your membership for the month of November.
This means you would have no access to WV Active from 1 - 30 November, and your access would resume on 1 December when your Direct Debit payment is taken.
To freeze your membership, please complete this online form before Friday 23 October, selecting ‘Freeze for November due to PDC Grand Slam of Darts’ from the drop-down menu.
If you contact us to freeze after the cut-off date, then this will not be actioned, and your membership will continue as normal.
A reminder that access to WV Active Central and Bilston-Bert Williams will be unaffected during this period.
